Home / Programs

Three programs. One belief: every child belongs in school.

We work across education, health, and water โ€” because a girl can't focus on lessons if she's walking miles for clean water, missing school during her period, or married off before she finishes primary school.

Program 01

Education ๐Ÿ“˜

Education is at the heart of our work. Too many children, especially girls, drop out of school due to poverty, early marriage, or lack of basic supplies.

  • Scholarships and school supplies (uniforms, books, bags, solar study lights)
  • Mentorship and guidance to help girls stay in school
  • School furniture donations for safe, supportive learning spaces
  • Community conversations with parents on the value of girls' education

2025/26 Highlight: 80 girls across 25 communities received full school packages.

Program 02

Public Health ๐Ÿ’™

A healthy child is a learning child. Many girls in Sierra Leone miss school due to poor health, lack of menstrual hygiene support, or limited sanitation facilities.

  • Menstrual hygiene, nutrition, adolescent health, and disease prevention training
  • Health awareness sessions for parents challenging harmful practices, including early marriage
  • Building and upgrading school toilets, especially for girls, so they attend with dignity
Program 03

Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) ๐Ÿ’™

Clean water and proper sanitation are essential for health, dignity, and education.

  • Constructing and repairing wells and hand pumps for schools and communities
  • Installing girl-friendly toilets to reduce absenteeism during menstruation
  • Promoting good hygiene practices among children and families

2025/26 Highlight: A three-room modern toilet block was built at Ansaru Islamic Secondary School.

Looking ahead

We're expanding mentorship into career guidance and digital literacy, building stronger partnerships with government and NGOs to improve school facilities, and working to secure reliable, long-term funding.
